Heggen helps treat Capt. Mike Slattery's wounds after he returns to the Nathan James with the Elaeis Virilis seeds. (“Nostos”)
Heggen continues treating Slattery alongside Doc Rios in the infirmary when he wakes up. When the Nathan James encounters a barge ship, Heggen accompanies the VBSS teams sent to investigate and helps treat the injured aboard after the barge has been cleared. (“Allegiance”)
Heggen asks about Slattery about his symptoms and concludes Slattery is back to normal. While Heggen helps move the refugees to balance the ship during a storm, Heggen rushes to treat one who has collapsed and has him moved to the infirmary unaware he is MI-6 Captain Sinclair. Heggen take his vitals to see what is wrong with him and figures he suffered from a mild panic attack before he is killed by Sinclair. (“Tempest”)
