The Russian Navy was the marine branch of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Due to the Red Flu, Russia's governmental structure ceased to exist. The RFS Vyerni, commanded by Admiral Konstantin Ruskov, sailed off to capture Dr. Rachel Scott and acquire the cure for their own benefits. When Russia commanded all ships to return to the Motherland, Ruskov disobeyed the order, knowing what fate would become of those on his cruiser.
